Who are Playtime Activity Cafés?

With 2 young children, Victoria Robson wanted to create something that would allow her to work and yet be there for her children at all times. In 2005, Playtime Activity Cafés were set up with the support of her husband Craig. The children, Charlie and Pippa, have loved being able to go to work with mummy and are a huge part of what Playtime Activity Café stands for - a clean, fun, safe place for children to play whilst parents and carers relax in a friendly and comfortable environment.

The Robson's decided to expand their business through franchising as they realised the key to running a profitable children's activity centre where children love to come and play, is down to the commitment of the owner to make it a success.

What is a Playtime Activity Café?

Indoor, air conditioned, bespoke designed play areas including soft play, toys and other attractions giving children the unique opportunity to enjoy unrestrained play whatever the weather.
A café that provides a wide range of exquisite luxury coffees, mouth-watering freshly prepared food, offering healthy options as well as wraps, salads, fresh fruit and a range of fruit smoothies.
Beautifully themed party rooms to accommodate 2 hour children's parties with all the accessories - party bags, invitations and delicious party food.
A café that has a "home away from home" feeling with friendly, fully trained staff.
A venue that allows parents to take advantage of free WIFI access while their children develop their social skills, confidence and burn off any extra energy.

How many people find themselves stuck at home on a rainy day and don't know what to do with the children?! All the puzzles have been made, they've lost interest in colouring and they are bursting with energy!! What do you do? You head to Playtime. There they see a large playframe that provides hours of fun! They can climb on it, slide down the slide and meet their friends for some special safe activity time. Us mums then get a chance to enjoy a nice drink and cheeky snack and more times than not, we let Playtime do the lunch or dinner cooking for us too!! Perfect!"
